Rhode Island Bass Anglers 2012

Guys, Next meeting 5/27/09 will take place @ 1192 Plainfield Pike in Johnston, RI @ 6:00PM. We will discuss payouts, rules, draw flight #'s and other stuff. Here are the officers meeting and notes from our first meeting. Since we are meeting on Weds and never discussed cutoffs we will extend the cutoff for Echo Lake until Thursday 5/28/09 @ midnight. Business:

1. Dues

a. Amount – set at $250

b. Use

i. Club Tournament Payouts

ii. Club Tournament Entry Fees

iii. Equipment (ex. Scales)

iv. Ramp Fees

v. Banking Fees

vi. Website Fees

c. Required Payment Date- All Dues must be paid before 1st tournament. As stated above the dues covers all club tournament entry fees

2. Club Bank Account

a. Club Officers have the authority to distribute payout checks for tournaments

b. Copies of account statements, payouts, etc can be provided upon request

c. Any account balance over $300 at EOY will be divided and distributed equally amongst all club members

3. Club Tournaments

c. Payouts

i. 1st Place - $100

ii. 2nd Place - $75

iii. 3rd Place - $50

iv. Lunker –

1. Fish over 3lbs - $25

2. fish under 3lbs – money is kept to EOY payout

v. “No Fish” placement will not be paid out. In other words, you must bring fish to the scale to qualify for payout.

1. If no payout is made for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place position, the money will be held in the club account till EOY.

d. EOY Tournament Payouts

i. Lunker - $50 plus any accumulated amount for lunker payments that were not made because fish were under 3lbs during tournaments

e. Point Standings

i. Points will be awarded to all members that attend the tournaments

1. 1st Place – 200 points

2. 2nd Place – 180 points

3. 3rd Place – 160 points

4. 4th Place – 140 points

5. 5th Place – 120 points

6. 6th Place – 100 points

7. 7th Place – 80 points

8. 8th Place – 60 points

9. 9th Place – 40 points

ii. Zero (0) points will be awarded for non-attendance

iii. Attendance but “no fish” at the scales will result in last place points. (Example: 6 members attend a tournament in which only 3 members bring fish to the scale. The members that didn’t bring fish to the scale will each receive 140 points)

4. SQT

a. The SQT will be held on July 10th and 11th at Sacandaga Lake in New York

i. 42 Square miles

ii. 125 miles of shoreline

iii. Maximum width – 5 miles

iv. Length – 29 miles

v. Average Depth – 40’

vi. Max. Depth – 65’ to 90’ at the Conklingville Dam

b. Date to notify SQT attendance – Each club member must notify the club President and/or Vice President by June 14, 2009 if they plan on attending the SQT

c. SQT “boater” qualification – Boater/non-boater will be determined point standings, point leaders will be given 1st opportunity as a boater.
